Saving My Skin

The past two months my skin has really freaked out and I'm not sure what's caused it, hormones? the weather? the products I've been using? Have i not been exercising enough lately? But there have been four products I that have completely saved my skin over this period so I really wanted to give them some serious praise.

My Morning Skincare Routine

Now 5 or 6 products may look daunting in the morning, especially if you know you're going to have to do your makeup as well. But, if you think about it, in order to have good makeup you need a good base to put it on. So here I am about to share with you the products I love to use in the morning to help me get the best out of my makeup or just to show of good healthy looking skin.

A tip on how to get fresh radiant base makeup

I think it's safe to say I'm a natural dewy base lover. I am a fan of the Clarins Hydraquench Tinted Moisturiser, REN Satin Perfection BB Cream, Dr Jart+ Water Fuse Beauty Balm and my all time favourite is the Laura Mercier Oil-Free Tinted Moisturiser. So as I'm getting ready for a night out I thought I would share my secret on how to get the best radiant glowy looking base makeup.

This weekend when I purchased a couple of bottles of my favourite makeup remover including two little ones for my gym bag I was told by the lady at The Garden Pharmacy+Perfumery that their shop is closing down. Now I don't know about you but this is the only shop that I know which sells bioderma in store, they do have an online shop but I'm not too sure if this is going to shut off soon too. However it is supposed to be sold in all 'leading pharmacies'  but I really haven't seen it sold anywhere else. Am I not looking hard enough?!

My Evening Skincare Routine

Yes, it's skincare, the one thing that to a lot of people is the bane of their day, God knows it used to be mine! But since my skins been behaving it's self the past 2 years, I've been looking after it the best I can and it's really benefitted from a good solid routine thanks the Queen of Skincare Caroline Hirons and her incredible blog. 
My evening skincare routine is one of the things I really look forward to at the end of a long day in the office. The air-conditioning make's my skin feel super tight and no facial spritz can save me after 6 hours. I just want to get home and take all my makeup off with a couple of cotton pads and trusty bioderma. 

REN Invisible Pores Detox Mask

I have been a devoted REN fan for well over a year now. I first started with their ClearCalm Clarifying Clay Cleanser which was spot on for my skin type which is fortunately clear until that one week a month where i have a breakout. So when I read that one of my favourite beauty bloggers Amelia Liana going on about this i just had to try it out!
