Saving My Skin

The past two months my skin has really freaked out and I'm not sure what's caused it, hormones? the weather? the products I've been using? Have i not been exercising enough lately? But there have been four products I that have completely saved my skin over this period so I really wanted to give them some serious praise.

Let's go in a use by order shall we? First up is my number one cleanser REN ClearCalm 3 Clay Cleanser. Now I've raved about this a few times already so I won't go into too much detail but this cleanser is pure genius! It's almost like a clay mask in cleanser form, it's super satisfying to use especially in the morning as its fresh creamy in consistency. It's top ingredient is Chamomile so it's very soothing for the skin so good for those with combination skin or as it's aimed at, blemish prone skin, although I think it would be great for all skin types.

Another one from REN which admittedly I have only been using for the past month as apposed to my usual PIXI Glow Tonic and it's the Clarimatte Toning Lotion. It smells incredible, again it's top ingredient is calming and soothing lavender which its particularly lovely to use in the evening. It's also got lactic acid in, need I say more for a toner? Scrub exfoliator no more!

Because I've had a few breakouts as well I've gone back to my La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo+ serum it's only recently been reformulated hence the + symbol. It now not only helps diminish Blemishes but it also helps prevent them from leaving marks on your skin. I haven't yet noticed much difference with the marks apart form them being a little lighter but it has definitely kept the blemishes at bay so maybe it'll be a little longer until the marks really start fading, after all, theres still plenty of the product left so I will keep you posted!

Now heres a little beaut by Nivea, and it's the Pure and Natural Soothing Day Cream for sensitive skin. I picked this up back in November early December when I woke up with pretty dry skin which was most noticeable when wearing makeup. Ive always struggled with finding the perfect moisturiser and I think I've finally cracked it with this one! This sorted my dryness problem out after 3 days, yes, you heard me, 3 darn days! And the fact it's free from parabens, silicones and mineral oil! You can't really go wrong with this and it's cheap as chips so it's definitely worth a try!
