The Healthy But Tasty Lunch

Oh boy do I love food. Since getting into a healthy lifestyle at the beginning of the year I've been really getting into healthy but still delicious dishes and a weakness for anything smothered in chocolate or icing at our local cake shop. I've never been great at cooking but when i start to get a passion for something that passion begins to develop into a bobbie and i can't help but look for the next delicious recipe on Madeline Shaw, Vivianna Does Makeup and PopSugar blogs.

You all know I'm a massive fan of the glowy skin look and since the ambient lighting powders have been around I've wanted to snap one of these up to give me glowing skin even Blake Lively would be jealous of! But I just couldn't justify the price.. Until now!

Autumn On My Finger Tips

So summer is officially over and with it bright coloured manis and pedis but not to worry, autumn brings cozy nights on the sofa watching your favourite chick flick and a hella' big cup of cocoa. Haircare 101

Surprisingly, what I use on my mane is what I usually get asked about. After putting my hair through a lot of stress during my teens I've been told I'm incredibly lucky to have such lovely hair and I think I've finally got my hair in the best condition I've ever had. -With many thanks to my wonderful hairdresser, Charlotte.

The Good Breakfast

Like a lot of people I love a cooked breakfast in the morning but I'm not a fan of that too full sick feeling so on days where I've got a lot planned and want to keep my energy up I head straight for the eggs and here's my little recipe for a quick and easy to make delicious and nutritious breakfast!

You will need:

• Two eggs
• 1/4 cup of milk or cream
• A lemon
• Pepper 
• Asparagus
• Avocado
• Fresh chives
• Spring Onions

Despite me having only ever talked about beauty on this blog it was never my full intention to make it just all about beauty. I'm actually massively into health and wellbeing so I am also going to be also posting a few things lifestyle on here like food, recipes, fitness and whatever else really comes to mind! Perhaps even the odd dog walk!

Like I said, I am really into a healthy lifestyle, I find that not only does it effect your body, but it also effects the way we think and act with everyday situations. 

I have always struggled with my sleeping I used to toss and turn all night but as soon as I started incorporating more exercise into my regime around a year ago I found that I slept a whole lot better. The same goes for what foods I put into my body. Now don't get me wrong, I would never turn down a big slice of chocolate cake, I don't 'calorie watch' but I do know that when I eat more processed and high in sugar foods all day everyday I get very sluggish and I don't find I want to hit the gym at all. 

So, that was just a little intro into what I'm going to also be posting on here and I hope you all enjoy reading about it. There's is still going to be a lot of beauty posts on here so don't worry!

Finally some nice weather! Time to get my legs out.. oh wait..

Sometimes there just are not enough hours in a working girls day to tan! And despite my half hour lunch breaks and weekends off I've only got a slight bit of a tan so armed with a Primark £1 mit (bargain)  I went out to pick up some false tans.

As of recent, my sleeping pattern seriously sucks! This weekend when I purchased a couple of bottles of my favourite makeup remover including two little ones for my gym bag I was told by the lady at The Garden Pharmacy+Perfumery that their shop is closing down. Now I don't know about you but this is the only shop that I know which sells bioderma in store, they do have an online shop but I'm not too sure if this is going to shut off soon too. However it is supposed to be sold in all 'leading pharmacies'  but I really haven't seen it sold anywhere else. Am I not looking hard enough?!

NARS Laguna

I'm so fed up of this horrible weather that I'm already pretending its summer. So if any of you are feeling the same, perhaps your feeling putting on some bronzer too, to give you a "I've been on holiday and you haven't" glow (I have not *cries*). 

The other day I dropped my already pan hit, all time favourite bronzer ever, NARS Laguna, during a top up in the toilets at work and when I say I very nearly cried I mean it because this is one of my favourite products in my makeup bag. But then again, that only gave me an excuse to buy a new one and who doesn't love new makeup aye?

My Evening Skincare Routine

Yes, it's skincare, the one thing that to a lot of people is the bane of their day, God knows it used to be mine! But since my skins been behaving it's self the past 2 years, I've been looking after it the best I can and it's really benefitted from a good solid routine thanks the Queen of Skincare Caroline Hirons and her incredible blog. 
My evening skincare routine is one of the things I really look forward to at the end of a long day in the office. The air-conditioning make's my skin feel super tight and no facial spritz can save me after 6 hours. I just want to get home and take all my makeup off with a couple of cotton pads and trusty bioderma.

On Thursday 23rd January I shot straight to boots after work to check out the new Revlon Colorburst lip crayons and ended up though roughly disappointed. However NOT because I didn't like the new products but within a few hours of them being in stores all but one of the colours I had set my sights on had already gone out of stock!
